Dackarna Malilla secures key riders for 2027 season

Swedish speedway champions Dackarna Malilla have announced several contract extensions as they prepare to defend their Bauhaus-Ligan title in 2027.

Artiom Laguta, the 2021 Individual World Champion, has signed a new deal to remain with the club for the 2027 season. Laguta was a standout performer during the 2026 campaign, maintaining an average of 2.328 points per heat and playing a vital role in the team's championship run.

Additionally, Danish rider Matias Nielsen has extended his stay at Skotfrag Arena. Nielsen was instrumental in securing the title, notably winning a deciding extra race during the championship finals. This marks Nielsen's fourth consecutive season with the club. He has also secured positions with Moonfin Magnus Ostrów Wielkopolski in Poland and Esbjerg Vikings in Denmark for the upcoming year.

To bolster their junior positions, the club has also confirmed the retention of Bastian Pedersen.
