Daedeok-gu Dementia Relief Center hosts healing program for families

The Daedeok-gu Dementia Relief Center organized a ‘Healing Village Experience’ program at the Jang-dong Rural Experience and Recreation Village in Daejeon. The event was designed to strengthen emotional bonds and communication between dementia patients and their families.

Approximately 100 participants from five districts in Daejeon took part in activities such as making kalguksu noodles and gangjeong (traditional sweets), as well as walking along cosmos-lined paths. Supported by the Daejeon Agricultural Technology Center and the Daejeon Dementia Center, the initiative aims to foster a dementia-friendly care culture within the local community and provide respite for caregivers.
