Daegu Catholic University launches learner support and job training programs

Daegu Catholic University has launched several initiatives to support both adult learners and young job seekers. Through the ‘Dasi Baeum ON’ program, the university’s Future Life College and the ANCHOR Lifelong Education System Innovation Project Group provided guidance to approximately 200 adult learners to help them adapt to university life and access support programs.

Simultaneously, the university’s University Job Plus Center conducted various employment support programs for local youth. These included an AI practical training course in collaboration with ‘Like Lion’, a lecture series featuring professionals from the pharmaceutical and bio industries, and a field visit to the 2026 Aviation Industry Career Expo in Busan. These programs aimed to enhance practical skills in fields ranging from generative AI to supply chain management and aviation.
