Daegu Korea Gas Corporation Pegasus suffers third consecutive loss

Daegu Korea Gas Corporation Pegasus suffered their third consecutive loss in the 2026-2027 KBL season following a 98-105 defeat against Busan KCC Egis at Sajik Gymnasium. Despite an early lead in the first quarter led by Kébé Aluma and Kim Min-gyu, the team struggled with turnovers and was outmatched by KCC’s foreign player duo, Luis King and Shawn Long.

The loss highlights growing concerns regarding the team's performance and roster health. While Aluma has shown strong scoring ability, averaging 20 points over the last three games, he has struggled with high turnover rates. Additionally, the team is facing significant injury setbacks; Jeon Hyeon-woo exited the game early due to knee pain, and Park Jun-young suffered a severe ankle injury during the fourth quarter.

Despite these challenges, young players Yang Woo-hyuk and Kim Min-gyu have provided notable energy and scoring. However, the team's inability to secure a win in the opening stretch of the season mirrors the difficulties faced during their previous campaign.
