Daegu Palgongsan Hiker Dies After Fall, Wife Hospitalized for Exhaustion

On the afternoon of July 29, a 60‑year‑old man fell from a cliff while descending near the summit of Palgongsan Mountain in Dong‑gu, Daegu, South Korea. Fire crews found him in cardiac arrest and transported him to a hospital, but he died shortly thereafter.
