Daehan Fiber begins commercial production of ACEPAR high-performance fiber

Daehan Fiber, a textile and petrochemical affiliate of Taekwang Group, has completed the establishment of a commercial production system for its next-generation high-performance material, ‘ACEPAR’.

ACEPAR is a liquid crystal polymer (LCP) fiber characterized by high tensile strength, excellent dimensional stability, and superior wear resistance. Due to its low moisture absorption and thermal stability, the material is suitable for harsh environments and high-value markets including electronics, semiconductors, and medical applications. It is also expected to be used in industrial ropes, cables, and composites.

In addition to industrial uses, the company plans to expand into non-industrial markets such as premium bags, outdoor gear, and high-performance apparel by leveraging the material's strength and lightweight properties. This move is part of a broader strategic shift from general-purpose textiles toward high-value-added industrial specialty materials.
