Daejeon Hana Citizen defeats Gwangju FC in rain-delayed K League match

Daejeon Hana Citizen secured a 3-2 comeback victory against Gwangju FC during a K League 1 match played under heavy rain at Daejeon World Cup Stadium. Despite Gwangju taking an early lead with two goals from Aideil in the first half, Daejeon responded in the second half with goals from Seo Jin-su and Diogo, followed by a lateown goal from Gwangju's Moon Min-seo.

The match faced significant delays due to weather conditions, with the second half starting over 30 minutes late as staff worked to manage waterlogged pitches. Daejeon manager Hwang Sun-hong credited the win to the players' persistence and tactical adjustments, specifically the introduction of Diogo to utilize physical strength in the difficult playing conditions.

In another K League 1 fixture, Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors defeated Jeju United 3-2 at Jeonju World Cup Stadium. Tiago scored twice to help Jeonbuk break a four-match winless streak and strengthen their position in the race for Final A.
