Daejeon Mayor Heo Tae-jeong marked his first 100 days in office by outlining key administrative priorities and reviewing recent achievements. A major focus is the completion of the Daejeon Subway Line 2 Tram, which the Mayor reaffirmed is scheduled for completion by 2030 despite recent controversies regarding power supply methods and procurement procedures.

To improve public welfare, Mayor Heo ordered a 15% increase in school meal subsidies, noting that Daejeon's current rates are among the lowest in the country. He also emphasized the importance of providing industrial land quickly to support the growth of local companies and prevent them from relocating to other regions.
