Daejeon to host 2026 Korea Bambam Festa night tourism event

Daejeon City, in collaboration with the Daejeon Tourism Organization, will host the ‘2026 Korea Bambam Festa in Daejeon’ on September 19 from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM near the Daejeon Museum of Art. The event is part of a joint promotional initiative by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Korea Tourism Organization to highlight specialized night tourism cities across the country.

Under the theme ‘Wellness in the City,’ the festival will feature candlelight performances, singing bowl meditation, yoga, and various cultural experiences such as calligraphy and outdoor libraries in coordination with the Hanbat Library. The Daejeon Museum of Art will extend its operating hours until 9:00 PM, allowing visitors to view the ‘Lee Kun-hee Collection: Lee Jung-seob’ exhibition.

Additional activities include a ‘Bambam Stamp Tour’ connecting Kumdori House 2, the Daejeon Museum of Art, and the Daejeon Convention Center. Participants who complete the QR code-based mission can receive local souvenirs. Some wellness programs and extended museum hours will continue through September 20.
