DAELUX releases pre-debut P-pop single ‘Like That’

The Davao-based P-pop girl group DAELUX has released their pre-debut single, ‘Like That’, under Sony Music Philippines. The seven-member group, consisting of CK, Alice, Ara, Rhya, Slane, Zyra, and Riri, aims to bring a distinct brand to the P-pop scene.

The upbeat track explores the themes of romantic uncertainty and the excitement of navigating new feelings. Produced by Pao Lofranco and co-written by British-Filipina artist AndreaH, the song involved creative contributions from the members themselves. The group worked with a Davao-based team for their music and performance video to maintain their roots in their hometown.

This release marks the group’s first project since partnering with Sony Music Philippines, joining a roster that includes other Davao-based groups such as HARA and AYO.
