Daemen University women's volleyball wins two matches at Wildcat Classic

The Daemen University women's volleyball team achieved a 2-0 record on the first day of the Wildcat Classic hosted by Wilmington University in New Castle, Delaware.

The Wildcats secured a 3-1 comeback victory against Holy Family after losing the first set. Following that win, Daemen defeated Saint Anselm in a five-set match. During the competition, Maddie Schamaun recorded her 1,000th career assist.

Daemen entered the tournament with a 3-5 overall record following their performance at the Crimson Hawk Classic.
