Daesang donates 35,775 eggs to 51 welfare facilities in Sejong City amid heatwave

Daesang Co., Ltd., in partnership with the Animal Welfare Management Center and the Sejong City Social Welfare Council, donated 35,775 "Cleanwon animal‑welfare certified eggs" to 51 social‑welfare facilities—including child centers, nursing homes and disability welfare centers—in Sejong City. The donation aims to support vulnerable groups coping with an intense heatwave. It represents the largest single‑batch contribution since the companies signed a partnership in 2023, bringing the cumulative total of eggs donated to Sejong’s welfare institutions to roughly 104,000. Daesang’s egg business head Lee Tae‑seong said the gift hopes to alleviate the hardship of neighbors affected by the heat and reaffirmed the firm’s commitment to corporate social responsibility and sustainable agriculture.
