Daesang partners with Smilegate Hope Studio to support vulnerable youth

Daesang Group has partnered with Smilegate Hope Studio to provide nutritional support for children, adolescents, and young adults in welfare blind spots. The initiative includes the donation of 1,200 Chungjungone food products, such as pasta sauces and snacks, and 700 meal vouchers.

The meal vouchers are redeemable at seven restaurants participating in the ‘Youth Table’ project, a social contribution program that improves facilities and menus for small restaurants near universities. The donation targets various groups, including youth aging out of foster care, individuals with disabilities, isolated or reclusive youth, and the long-term unemployed.

This collaboration was inspired by the Hope Studio video content ‘I’m Fine Dining,’ which featured Chef Kim Hoon using Chungjungone products. The donated items and vouchers will be distributed through ten ‘Smile House’ platforms and various child and youth welfare facilities.
