Daesang targets 1,000 billion won revenue in Southeast Asia by 2030
Daesang has set a revenue target of 1,000 billion won (approximately $710 million) in Southeast Asia by 2030. The company’s combined revenue in the region is projected to reach approximately 790 billion won ($560 million) by 2025, representing a 29% increase between 2021 and 2025.
To achieve this growth, the corporation is focusing on localization strategies across production capacity, product portfolios, distribution infrastructure, and brand positioning. This move responds to structural shifts in consumer behavior within the ASEAN Economic Community, where the middle class is expected to comprise 70% of the population by 2030. Vietnam remains a critical component of this long-term strategy, building on foundations established over three decades.
