Daewoo Experience Store Opens in Ghaziabad, India
EBG Group inaugurated India’s first Daewoo Experience Store in Indirapuram, Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh. The 3,200 sq ft flagship showroom displays Daewoo’s full line of major home and kitchen appliances, including refrigerators, washing machines, air conditioners, dishwashers, microwave ovens, televisions and other consumer electronics. The launch was attended by representatives of POSCO International, senior EBG Group leadership and Indian actor Murali Sharma. Founder Dr Irfan Khan said the opening marks a milestone in building Daewoo into a trusted Indian brand. Under the brand‑licensing agreement with POSCO International, EBG Group leads Daewoo’s development, manufacturing, distribution and retail expansion in India and has pledged a ₹150 crore investment to support product development, retail growth, distribution networks and localisation.
The experience centre offers live product demonstrations, personalised consultations and dedicated after‑sales support, aiming to create a seamless, customer‑centric retail ecosystem for Indian consumers.
