Daewoong Pharmaceutical holds market entry competition for Korean and Indonesian students

Daewoong Pharmaceutical hosted the Industrial Skills Event (ISE), an industry-academic cooperation program involving pharmacy students from South Korea and Indonesia. The competition included 48 Korean students from the Korea Association of Pharmaceutical Students (KNAPS) and 32 Indonesian students from the BEM Fakultas Farmasi Universitas Indonesia (BEM FF UI).

The primary objective was to develop market entry strategies for the company’s analgesic brand, ‘EzN6 Eve’, in the Indonesian market. Participants worked in collaborative teams to conduct market and consumer analysis, as well as to establish distribution and marketing strategies. Daewoong Pharmaceutical professionals served as mentors and judges to provide practical feedback.

The winning team proposed a customized positioning strategy focused on addressing menstrual pain and related symptoms such as edema and abdominal bloating, combined with a digital and pharmacy-linked integration plan. The company stated it intends to continue expanding such programs to help young talent develop global pharmaceutical practical skills.
