Daewoong Pharmaceutical to support Seoul blood glucose management project

Daewoong Pharmaceutical has been selected as a partner for the Seoul Metropolitan Government’s ‘Blood Glucose Catch 9988’ project. This initiative aims to support 1,000 citizens identified as being in the pre-diabetic stage (fasting blood glucose levels between 100–125 mg/dL) through metabolic syndrome screenings at local public health centers.

Participants will receive continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) devices and lifestyle management services. By using the ‘Welda’ metabolic health management platform, users can track real-time glucose trends and observe how diet and exercise impact their levels. The program is designed to help citizens translate data into actionable healthy habits.

Applications open on September 9 via the ‘Wrist Doctor 9988’ app. Participants can purchase CGM devices and linked app services at a discount of over 45% off the regular price. Kits containing the devices and instructions will be dispatched on September 29, with program usage scheduled to begin in early October.
