DAF launches New Generation truck range in Australia

DAF has launched its New Generation truck range in Australia, marking the most significant transformation of its product line in over 30 years. The new range features redesigned cab architecture, improved aerodynamics, advanced safety technologies, and enhanced driver comfort aimed at increasing transport efficiency.

The lineup consists of four distinct models designed for various transport needs:

• XB: A compact model with a 7-litre engine optimized for urban environments and city distribution. • XD: A versatile model with an 11-litre engine for distribution and vocational applications. • XF: A model featuring a 13-litre engine engineered for interstate freight and long-distance productivity. • XG: The flagship premium model, manufactured at PACCAR Australia’s Bayswater facility, featuring a 15-litre engine for long-haul efficiency.

The rollout follows the 2024 introduction of the XG, which was the first model in this generation to be built locally in Australia. The company reports that the new designs have undergone extensive local validation to ensure real-world efficiency benefits.
