DAF XF 530 maintains strong sales position in Brazil
The DAF XF 530 has established itself as a consistent leader in the Brazilian heavy-duty truck market. According to data from Fenabrave and ANFAVEA, the model frequently appears in national registration rankings, driven by its fuel efficiency, mechanical robustness, and low total cost of ownership (TCO).
The XF 530 is a central component of DAF’s expansion in Brazil, accounting for approximately 60% of the more than 55,000 trucks sold by the manufacturer in the country. It is widely utilized by large transport companies, logistics operators, and cooperatives specializing in long-distance transport.
Following the implementation of Euro 6 legislation in November 2022, the model integrated advancements to improve energy efficiency and reduce emissions while maintaining the performance of its 530 cv PACCAR MX-13 engine. Key technical features include a next-generation automated transmission and Predictive Cruise Control (PCC), which uses terrain data to optimize gear shifts and reduce fuel consumption.
