Daft Punk to feature in new Métal Hurlant comic anthology

The electronic music duo Daft Punk is the subject of a new 272-page authorized comic anthology produced in collaboration with the science fiction publication Métal Hurlant. The collection features contributions from over 30 international creators, including artists and writers, who will reinterpret the duo’s iconic robot personas and their visual mythology through comics, essays, and interviews.

The project arrives five years after Thomas Bangalter and Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo retired the group. The English-language edition will be published in the United States by Humanoids. The anthology aims to explore the duo’s history of visual worldbuilding, which includes projects such as the anime film Interstella 5555 and the cinematic work Electroma.
