Dag Otto Lauritzen to release new autobiography

Norwegian television personality and former professional cyclist Dag Otto Lauritzen is releasing a new autobiography titled ‘Mitt liv i 21 etapper’, written by Rune Brynhildsen and published by Cappelen Damm.

In the book, Lauritzen reflects on his diverse career, which includes being the first Norwegian to win a stage in the Tour de France and his recent success as a host on ‘Kompani Lauritzen’. He offers personal insights into his family life, including the impact of his parents' divorce in the early 1980s and the social stigma surrounding divorce at that time.

Lauritzen also discusses his long-term marriage to his wife, Ellen, describing his own past behavior as sometimes selfish and acknowledging the support she provided throughout his hectic professional life.
