Daglas Ovusu’s Red Star Transfer Stalls as Club Seeks New Destination
Ghana‑born striker Daglas Ovusu completed a €2.2 million move from Radnik Surdulica to Red Star Belgrade but has not been assigned a squad place. He trains apart from the first team and the club has closed the door on his inclusion at the Karaburma training ground. Red Star and Ovusu’s agents are now looking for a loan or a permanent move abroad. An offer from Dinamo Kyiv fell through, and interest has been reported from clubs in Belgium, France, Poland and Turkey, with possible loan destinations including OFK Beograd and Čukarički.
Other transfer market activity in Serbia this week includes French forward Kolo Muani undergoing a medical at Juventus after a €38 million deal was agreed, while Argentine goalkeeper Emiliano Martínez’ proposed move to Juventus was cancelled because the clubs could not agree on price. Additional rumors involve Bruno Guimarães potentially heading to Arsenal and other midfield targets for Newcastle United.
