Dagur Sigurdsson, the coach of the Croatian national handball team, was seen performing music at a private celebration in a tavern on the Zadar peninsula. Accompanied by his partner, Asa Inge Thorsteinsdottir, and friends, Sigurdsson played Prince’s “Purple Rain” on the guitar.
During the gathering, a band joined in to perform the song “Ako ne znaš šta je bilo” by Marko Perković Thompson. Sigurdsson, who has a musical background through his brother, previously performed at a public celebration following the team’s silver medal at the 2025 World Championship and bronze at the 2026 European Championship.
The Croatian handball team is preparing for upcoming challenges, including European Championship qualifiers in November against Lithuania and Finland, ahead of the 2027 World Championship in Germany.
