Producer Dahi has released the music video and track “How to Pray,” a collaboration featuring Kendrick Lamar and Amber Mark. The song is part of Dahi’s debut solo album, Black Boy (Alternative).

The music video utilizes an experimental format designed to encourage human connection. It is split into two vertical halves intended to be played simultaneously on two separate mobile devices. When placed side-by-side, the two fragments complete a single picture, revealing how different perspectives inform one another.

Dahi, a Grammy-winning producer known for his work on Kendrick Lamar’s “Money Trees” and “DAMN.,” describes the new 11-track album as an exploration of Black identity, drawing from influences such as ’90s rock, West African soul, and experimental hip-hop.
