Dahlia events draw crowds and interest across the Netherlands

Dahlia enthusiasts in the Netherlands are celebrating the season through various community events. In Zwolle, the Dahliavereniging Rondom de Peperbus is hosting two Open Days in September. On September 5, the Ruusbroec garden will be open to the public, followed by the Wezenlanden garden on September 19. Both events offer free admission from 10:00 to 12:30 and include activities such as guided tours, flower arranging, and photo competitions.

In Klein-Zundert, the Dahlia Walking Tour recently saw record participation with over 3,000 walkers. The event allows participants to walk through colorful dahlia fields and visit corso tents to see the progress of parade floats. Organizers noted that the tour serves as a way to introduce visitors to the magic of the Zundert flower parade.
