Dai Nam Tourism Area completes new water puppetry stage

Dai Nam Tourism Area has completed a new water puppetry stage at the Lang Viet Farm educational zone. This addition is designed to support the 2026-2027 school year, with registration for visiting groups beginning on October 1, 2026.

The project aims to integrate recreational activities with life skills education, social practice, and cultural learning for students. The Lang Viet Farm was previously developed as a space for schools to organize extracurricular programs rather than serving as a standard amusement park.

Water puppetry is a traditional Vietnamese folk art form with historical roots dating back over 900 years, as evidenced by the Sung Thien Dien Linh stele from 1121. The art form utilizes the water surface as a stage, with puppets controlled by artisans from behind a screen.
