Daigo Araki transfers from FC Gifu to SW Bregenz

FC Gifu midfielder Daigo Araki is transferring to SW Bregenz in Austria. The 32-year-old player, who joined Gifu in 2024, expressed his desire to pursue the opportunity to play in Europe despite his age.

Araki, whose career includes stints at Jubilo Iwata and Kyoto Sanga FC, shared his gratitude toward the FC Gifu fans and staff. He noted that while he regrets leaving the club during their push for J2 promotion, he felt he could not pass up the chance to challenge himself in a European football environment.
