Daiki Goto wins Asian Games silver in 400m hurdles

At the Asian Games in Nagoya, Japanese track and field athletes achieved notable results in several events. 17-year-old Daiki Goto, a student at Rakunan High School, won the silver medal in the men's 400m hurdles with a time of 47.93 seconds. This performance is nearly equal to the Japanese national record held by Dai Tamesue, missing it by just 0.04 seconds.

In the women's 800m final, 18-year-old Rin Kubo finished in 4th place with a time of 2:05.46, while Ayano Shiomi placed 5th.
