Daikin presents advanced HVAC solutions for sports and residential sectors

Daikin is presenting its technological solutions for the evolution of sports facilities at the 41st AiCARR National Convention in Turin. The company focuses on addressing the complex challenges of HVAC-R systems in sports environments, where maintaining air quality, safety, and energy efficiency is critical despite variable usage conditions.

Daikin identifies four interconnected pillars for future sports infrastructure: comfort, efficiency, safety, and sustainability. These include managing thermal conditions during high occupancy and utilizing heat pump systems to reduce environmental impact.

In the residential sector, there is a growing trend toward ‘all in one’ heat pump systems that integrate air-to-air and air-to-water solutions. These systems are designed to provide year-round thermal comfort, adapting to changing climate patterns where milder temperatures in spring and autumn increase the demand for versatile heating and cooling. Daikin’s X Series is highlighted as a multifunctional solution for homes up to 150 square meters, aiming to optimize energy efficiency and integrate with renewable sources like photovoltaics.
