Daimaru Fukuoka Tenjin hosts dessert competition between red bean and butter

Daimaru Fukuoka Tenjin will host a promotional event starting November 4, 2026, featuring a competition between “anko” (red bean) and “butter” themed sweets. Customers who spend 1,620 yen or more at the B2 food floor can receive a receipt coupon to vote for their preferred flavor profile.

Participants who vote for the winning team will be entered into a drawing for 1,000 yen app coupons. The “anko” team features a variety of products including red bean Danish, mochi, and traditional Japanese sweets using Tokachi red beans. The “butter” team focuses on baked goods such as rusks, cookies, and financiers.
