Daimiel re-tenders Plaza de España renovation project

The City Council of Daimiel has launched a new tender for the comprehensive renovation of Plaza de España after a previous bidding process failed to attract any contractors. The updated project aims to transform the public space by reordering the area, renewing pavements, improving accessibility, and updating urban infrastructure while preserving existing trees and building volumes.

The maximum budget for the project is set at 1,450,788.19 euros, including VAT. The works are expected to be completed within a six-month period. Interested companies have until October 20 to submit their offers. The council noted that the project is sensitive due to the high concentration of commercial, administrative, and social activity in the area, and they aim to minimize the impact on local businesses during construction.
