Dairy industry developments reported in Entre Ríos

The dairy sector in Entre Ríos, Argentina, is seeing developments in both retail expansion and industry professionalization. The Cooperativa de Trabajo Cotapa Ltda. has inaugurated its fifth retail location at the Municipal Market in Paraná. This expansion follows the workers' recovery of the company and currently supports over 80 families. The cooperative has implemented a discount system for students, retirees, and teachers to facilitate direct sales to consumers.

Additionally, the Cámara de Productores de Leche de Entre Ríos has announced the Second Dairy Chain Conference, scheduled for September 29 and 30 in Crespo. The event will feature approximately 50 commercial stands and over 20 speakers. Topics will include technical training in regenerative pastures, artificial intelligence, and animal nutrition, as well as economic analysis for dairy producers.
