Dairy producers celebrate traditions in Bolivia and Argentina
In Cochabamba, Bolivia, dairy producers from FUNDAPROLEC commemorated National Milk Day by presenting the largest cheese in the country. The massive cheese, weighing 500 kilograms, was created using approximately 5,000 liters of milk. The event, held at the Plaza 14 de Septiembre, featured a fair showcasing various dairy products such as yogurt and local cheeses, aimed at connecting producers directly with consumers.
In Morteros, Argentina, the upcoming Fiesta de la Tierra y la Tradición will host the official presentation of ‘Caminos del Queso Córdoba’. Scheduled for November 6–8, the initiative seeks to link regional dairy production with tourism and gastronomy. The event will include a gastronomic walk at Lago Norte, featuring tastings, masterclasses, and stands to highlight the region's rural traditions and productive identity.
