Daishin Securities launches automated US stock trading service

Daishin Securities has launched a new automated order service for customers trading US stocks. The service allows investors to pre-set specific conditions, such as target prices or rates of return, which the system monitors in real-time to execute trades automatically when conditions are met.

The service applies to stocks listed on US markets, excluding over-the-counter (OTC) stocks. Investors can choose to monitor only regular market hours or extend surveillance to include pre-market and after-market sessions, covering the period from 5:00 PM to 8:30 AM the following day.

A key feature of the service is the ‘trailing stop’ function, which adjusts the base price as the stock moves in a favorable direction and executes an order if the price subsequently drops or rebounds by a set amount. The service is available through Daishin Securities’ HTS and MTS platforms. The company noted that the service aims to reduce investor fatigue associated with monitoring US market fluctuations during overnight hours.
