Daiso rubber plant growth comparison: 330 yen vs 110 yen seedlings

A comparative study of Ficus elastica (Rubber Plant Burgundy) seedlings purchased from the Japanese retailer Daiso shows significant growth differences based on initial price points.

After six months of cultivation in the same environment, the 330 yen seedlings grew more than twice as tall as the 110 yen seedlings. The more expensive plants demonstrated faster growth speeds and larger, glossier leaves, making them more suitable as primary interior decor. In contrast, the 110 yen seedlings grew more slowly and are better suited for those who enjoy gradual growth in smaller spaces.
