Daisy Edgar-Jones to star in new ‘Sense and Sensibility’ film

Focus Features and Working Title are producing a new film adaptation of Jane Austen’s ‘Sense and Sensibility’, directed by Georgia Oakley. The production features an ensemble cast including Daisy Edgar-Jones and Esme Creed-Miles as the Dashwood sisters, Elinor and Marianne.

Other cast members include Caitríona Balfe as Mrs. Dashwood, George MacKay as Edward Ferrars, Frank Dillane as John Willoughby, and Herbert Nordrum as Colonel Brandon. The script is written by Diana Reid.

In connection with the Regency-era aesthetic, Hobby Lobby has released Jane Austen-inspired home decor items, such as wood wall decor featuring literary quotes and sketches, as part of its weekly offerings.
