Daito Trust Construction releases 2026 happiness and livability rankings

Daito Trust Construction has released its 2026 rankings for town happiness and livability for Saitama and Niigata Prefectures, based on survey data from residents aged 20 and older.

In Saitama Prefecture, Urawa Ward ranked first in both town happiness and the desire to continue living in the area, achieving a high deviation score in the 70s. Koshigaya Laketown secured the top spot for station-based happiness for the sixth consecutive year. Other notable mentions include Minami Ward and Hasuda City in the happiness rankings.

In Niigata Prefecture, Seiro Town ranked first in both happiness and livability for the third and second consecutive years, respectively. Niigata City's Chuo Ward and Nishi Ward also maintained high rankings, appearing consistently in the top three for happiness. The survey results reflect resident satisfaction regarding their current living conditions and their sense of pride and attachment to their local communities.
