Dak Lak approves 1,025 billion VND expressway connection road
The Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee has approved the investment policy for a 2.37km road project designed to connect the North-South Expressway to the old National Highway 1. The project will be located in the Tuy Hoa and Binh Kien wards, with the East Dak Lak Regional Construction Investment Project Management Board serving as the investor.
Designed as an urban main road with a 60km/h speed limit, the project includes a 40m wide right-of-way, a 21m wide roadway, and a 5m central divider. The infrastructure plan features intersections, drainage systems, street lighting, and undergrounding of electricity and telecommunications lines. A new 80.22m reinforced concrete bridge will also be constructed.
The total estimated investment is approximately 1,025 billion VND, split equally between the central budget and the provincial budget. Funding is planned for the 2026-2030 medium-term public investment period. Site clearance is expected to begin in 2027, with construction starting in 2028 and completion targeted for the 2029-2030 period.
