Dak Lak jewelry business owner prosecuted for tax evasion

Authorities in Dak Lak province have officially prosecuted Nguyen Thi Thanh Nga, owner of TS Private Enterprise, for tax evasion. The investigation revealed that during 2024 and 2025, Nga used personal bank accounts to receive payments for gold, silver, and jewelry transactions without providing sufficient information to accountants for bookkeeping, invoicing, or tax declarations.

Officials determined that the total amount of evaded taxes exceeded 431 million VND. This figure includes more than 154 million VND in value-added tax and over 277 million VND in corporate income tax. The Dak Lak Provincial Police have issued the decision to prosecute under Article 200 of the Penal Code, and the Regional People's Procuracy has approved the legal proceedings.
