Dak Lak manages public investment and surplus state assets
Dak Lak province is addressing challenges regarding public investment disbursement and the management of surplus state assets. As of early October 2026, the province's public investment disbursement for the year reached over 47% of the plan, while carried-over funds from 2025 reached over 43%. However, several agencies and localities report low disbursement rates, with some units having not disbursed any funds at all. The Department of Finance noted that delays are largely due to land clearance issues, including incomplete cadastral records, disputes over compensation, and insufficient resettlement infrastructure.
Simultaneously, the Dak Lak Land Fund Development Center is managing 75 surplus land and building facilities. Of these, 33 are slated for lease, 36 are designated for land use rights auctions, and 6 are in the handover process. High-value leases have been recorded in Buon Ma Thuot, with the former Buon Ma Thuot Construction Investment Project Management Board headquarters commanding a rental price of over 1.24 billion VND per year. Other significant leases include the former headquarters of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dak Lak province, which rents for over 820 million VND annually.
