Dak Lak officials propose meal support for students with disabilities

Luong Nguyen Minh Triet, Secretary of the Dak Lak Provincial Party Committee, has directed officials to propose meal support for students with disabilities. During a visit to the Center for Supporting Inclusive Education Development for Children with Disabilities on September 22, Triet discussed the challenges regarding the care and education of these students.

The center currently serves 165 students, including those with intellectual disabilities, autism, and hearing or speech impairments. Many students come from poor or near-poor households. The center's director, Pham Thi Tuyet, noted that the increasing number of students requiring high levels of support has led to a shortage of specialized staff, as teachers must balance instruction with personal care and behavioral management.
