Quảng Trị court sentences man to death for multiple murders and robbery
In Quảng Trị, Nguyễn Ngọc Đạo has been sentenced to death following a violent spree involving murder, robbery, and the illegal use of a homemade firearm. Driven by marital conflicts, Đạo traveled from Đà Nẵng to Quảng Trị, where he shot and killed a taxi driver, Biện Thái S., to steal a vehicle valued at 380 million VND. He subsequently targeted his parents-in-law, Phan Văn H. and Đinh Thị Thanh T., shooting Mr. H. and killing Ms. T.
Other recent criminal activities in Vietnam include the prosecution of a 2007-born individual in Bắc Ninh for the rape of a 15-year-old girl. In Hưng Yên, authorities arrested two men for organizing the illegal use of Ketamine at a local lodging facility.
