Dak Lak police penalize teen for driving motorcycle with feet

Authorities in Dak Lak province have issued administrative penalties against a 17-year-old boy for dangerous driving behaviors and against his parent for allowing an unqualified person to operate a vehicle.

The teenager, identified as Huynh Minh C, was caught on video using both feet to control a motorcycle while lying on the seat, weaving through traffic without a helmet. The incident occurred on Hung Vuong Street in Phu Yen Ward. In addition to the dangerous driving, the minor was cited for operating a motorcycle exceeding 50 cm³ without being of legal age.

His father, Huynh Duc T, was also penalized for handing over the vehicle to an unlicensed driver. Police are currently conducting judicial assessments to determine if the motorcycle should be confiscated under government regulations.
