Dak Lak psychiatric patient escapes hospital and steals motorcycle

A male patient suffering from schizophrenia escaped from the Dak Lak Psychiatric Hospital in Buon Ma Thuot after climbing onto a corrugated iron roof. Following his escape, the individual stole a motorcycle from a resident's home, causing significant distress to the owner.

Footage circulated on social media showing the patient riding the motorcycle without a helmet while carrying an object resembling an iron rod. After the patient fell from the vehicle during his flight, Thanh Nhat Ward police were able to approach, restrain, and return him to safety.
