Orlovsky placed Prescott fifth in mechanics and pocket presence, tenth in arm strength, and tenth in ball placement. The analyst noted Prescott’s ability to “float the pass in and set his receiver up for yards after the catch.”

In discussions regarding the team’s wide receiver corps, Prescott addressed the chemistry between CeeDee Lamb and George Pickens. He noted that both players prioritize team success over individual egos, stating, “They truly want the other guy to have just as much success as each of them has individually.” Pickens, who joined the Cowboys after a stint with the Pittsburgh Steelers, recorded 1,429 receiving yards and nine touchdowns during his first season with the team.
