Dakabin burglaries: Three boys charged by Queensland Police
Queensland Police detectives have charged three boys following a series of alleged burglaries in Dakabin on Monday, August 10. Officers responded to Raffindale Avenue shortly after 3:00 a.m. after receiving reports of a group attempting to enter homes and vehicles.
While four teenage boys were located by police shortly after the incident, three have been charged with a total of 32 offences. The charges include entering premises and committing indictable offences by breaking, entering premises with intent to commit indictable offences, and attempted entry of dwellings at night in company.
The suspects, aged 14 and 15, are scheduled to appear in the Pine Rivers Children’s Court on dates ranging from August 17 to September 21. Police stated that further arrests are likely as investigations continue.
