Dakahlia officials inspect hospitals to improve healthcare services

Health officials in Dakahlia are conducting intensive field inspections to improve medical services and facility operations across the governorate.

Governor Tariq Marzouq inspected the area surrounding Dekernes General Hospital to ensure patient comfort and evaluate cleanliness and service quality. During his visit, he met with citizens to listen to their feedback and complaints regarding medical care, emphasizing that citizen health and comfort are top priorities.

Simultaneously, Dr. Hamoodeh El-Gazzar, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health in Dakahlia, conducted inspections at Talkha Central Hospital and Nabaroh Central Hospital. Following his visit to Talkha, El-Gazzar ordered the full activation of a new building—which houses emergency services, a blood bank, and radiology—within 48 hours to maximize available resources.

At Nabaroh Central Hospital, officials reviewed the availability of medicines, medical supplies, and equipment in the emergency and intensive care units. El-Gazzar stressed that emergency medicines and supplies must be provided to patients free of charge, ensuring no financial burden is placed on those seeking urgent care.
