Dakota Ditcheva reveals broken hands during PFL victory

Mixed martial artist Dakota Ditcheva revealed she sustained fractures to both hands during her recent unanimous decision victory over Denise Kielholtz at PFL New York. Ditcheva stated in a video that she felt the injury beginning in the second round but chose not to inform her corner or trainers until the fight concluded.

The injury is linked to previous fractures; Ditcheva had undergone surgery on one hand following an earlier bout but opted not to have surgery on the other. She noted that doctors had warned the untreated hand could fracture again, a risk she ultimately took. She is currently wearing splints while awaiting a surgical consultation to determine her next steps.

Despite the injury, Ditcheva, who improved her record to 16-0, expressed interest in making a boxing debut with Most Valuable Promotions, the organization backed by Jake Paul that merged with the PFL earlier this year.
