Dalaroo Metals commences maiden drilling at Côte d’Ivoire gold project

Dalaroo Metals has completed drill pads and access routes for its maiden drilling program at the Bondoukou Gold Ridge Project in Côte d’Ivoire. Following a recent capital raise, the company expanded its initial phase one reverse circulation drilling program from 10,000m to 12,000m.

The program aims to systematically test three priority gold targets: Mag, Wilfred, and Ali. Drilling is expected to commence by August 15 and will utilize a "scissor-drilling" approach to better understand the geometry of mineralized structures. This phase is part of a larger 20,000m drilling strategy for the project.

Previous soil sampling at the site identified gold results of 23.26 grams per tonne along a 7-kilometre-long corridor. The project is located within the Birimian Greenstone Belt. Meanwhile, Côte d’Ivoire continues to see significant growth in the sector, with S&P Global Market Intelligence reporting that the country attracted $186 million in mineral exploration investment in 2025, an 82 percent increase from the previous year.
