Dalías and Celín launch new Active Aging Workshops

The Dalías City Council has launched a new edition of its Active Aging Workshops, also referred to as memory workshops, in both Dalías and Celín. The program has seen an increase in participation compared to the previous year.

Designed to improve the quality of life for seniors, the workshops focus on cognitive exercise, memory stimulation, and promoting healthy habits through social interaction. In Celín, sessions are held on Thursdays at the Multi-Purpose Building, while in Dalías, they take place on Fridays at the Santa María de Ambrox Senior Center.

Mayor Francisco Lirola, accompanied by Social Affairs Councilor María Dolores Gómez and Welfare Councilor José Gabriel García, visited the participants to mark the start of the course. Lirola emphasized the importance of these programs in providing spaces for social participation and emotional, physical, and mental well-being.
